3/9/24 -- Meeting Minutes

In this meeting, we discussed multiple different things but we mainly focused on the future of BTST the many different changes, and the many internal changes that are happening to BTST and its departments. Due to a few people leaving BTST for various reasons, we have received feedback from these people and are planning to adjust and are open to changes. Attendance is also becoming stricter and times have been adjusted to be more fair to people living in the Pacific time zone.

3/9/2024 Meeting Notes: 

Fiance: 

• Pastor Kyle hasn’t responded but probably T-Shirts

• Start working on the preparations of getting BTST T-Shirts and the costs 

• No need for bibles

• Taking intuitive on the Google Non-Profit without Jason 

Communications: 

•  New Posts?

• Making plans

• No tiktok cause its hard to interact with short clips

• Reposting reels from Instagram onto TikTok

• More humorous on Tiktok attention grabbing

• Communications start working together more, more communication in communications 

• Reach out to members (Department Heads) 

Admin: 

• New deadline to report as excused from meetings: 

• Eastern and Central Time Members: 3:30 PM (EST)

• West Coast Members: 12:30 PM (PST) 

• PLEASE MAKE SURE MEMBERS ARE ATTENDING THE MEETINGS 

      - and if not… please notify in the Kakao group chat 6 Hours before the meeting time or else marked unexcused

• Update the Website with new members (or missing blurbs) 

• Get blurbs from Luke, Vivian, Ian, Tiffany Lee, Yeeun, Ryan Chong 

• Remove Jason from Website

• Issues with the Website with a bar

• Adding blurbs for each department (each department can start working on their own department blurb)

HR:  

• No new members :( 

• Stress the importance of meetings but keep up good work!

• Spread BTST!

Additional Notes: 

•  The Mexico Math Camp will be on: 6/17/2024 - 6/22/2024

• After class fun games  with jars piggy bank putting some gold coins as prizes with 4 teams with each for different school levels and each day have games and achievements for gold coins

• No Guatemala just Mexico 

• New Discussion Question for every meeting

• Let Department Heads know of new members

• One person left, felt like not good enough use for non-leading members

• Discussion Questions more focused on BTST

• Department head telling delegating tasks and coming up with ideas within their own department 

• New directors can delegate who are the new Department Heads

• More members in the department that aren’t needed (ex. HR) 

• New Departments to fill up members 

• Entertainment in meetings to have fun in meetings, spread happiness 

• Outreach committee

• Writing about our plans before math camps, plans before the summer in English or Korean and publishing them

• Needing more passion from BTST 

• More things to be active about: Supporting other non-profits, participating in a blood drive, members working on more outside then just what we do in our meetings 

• WE WILL BE BETTER (ALL OF US) 

• REACH OUT MORE 

• We need to work harder and do more

• Working with other companies is kind of a stretch with our size

• Change the name of Communications to reflect more what the department does: Marketing, Media Outreach, Public Relations 

• Creative department worked within the “communications department”
